You know the crazy thing about trends?

Most people, if not everyone, are trend-followers. Either ...

1) you're too afraid to be a leader, to leave familiar territory (or be alone), to accept that not everyone likes you, to see people you've been good to switch up on you and disrespect you, to know people have negative opinions about you

or 

2) you think you're sooo elite, sooo unique that you label yourself a trendsetter when, in fact, you are STILL a trend-follower!

The thing about God is that God is not too heavy on groupthink. Yes, God wants us to disciple others and fellowship with like-minded individuals, however, the "like-mindedness" really means "all of us congeal because we all want to do God's will". (we're like-minded because we're Christ-minded) #thatsitthatsall

So why do we abandon who & what we literally were created for in order to impress other creations who also abandoned who & what we literally were created for. groupthink. Once non-believers are around, we become brave and stupid enough to risk eternity; knowing the truth yet still acting like we never encountered God before. We're supposed to be impacting the world but we are too obsessed with the comfort of conforming so we try to convince God that our flaws should excuse us from obeying him - cuz we're trend-followers

God ain't ask Moses for no resume, no list of pros and cons, no qualifications except for OBEDIENCE! Willing vessels ready to be used however God sees fit, going through whatever victory or whatever trials that God sees fit, looking stupid to others just so we can please our Lord and King. 

So choose! Do you want to go all-in the first time God asks you to go to Pharoah? Or do you want God to be angry at you because you doubted and forgot that God is enormously bigger than your speech challenge or whatever other monument of nothingness you come up with?
